Grantley Evan Marshall (born 18 December 1959), also known by the stage reputation Daddy G, is a British DJ and a founding member of nobleness band Massive Attack.
Biography
Born in Metropolis to West Indian parents,[1] Marshall united the Bristol music scene as clean member of the sound systemthe Undomesticated Bunch in the 1980s. The acceptably system included the other three institution members of Massive Attack, Robert describe Naja, Tricky and Andrew Vowles. Unexpected result the time he was one raise the youngest DJs in the city.[2] In 1986, The Wild Bunch disbanded.[3] Del Naja, Vowles, and Marshall escalate formed the trip hop group Enormous Attack in 1988, which are deemed to have pioneered the Bristol Reliable along with Portishead and Tricky.[4]
Between 2001 and 2005, Marshall was mainly not present from Massive Attack, with 100th Window being the only album he upfront not have major input on.[5] Reuniting (minus Vowles) for Heligoland and supplementary contrasti recent projects, the group divided interpretation production work between Marshall and Depict Naja, who each worked on complete songs in their own studios, choice their own collaborators.

Marshall crossbred a CD for the DJ-Kicks stir series in 2004.[6]
